Case Study: Spencer Scott

Since its inception, I've worked with the company and helped build the company brand, logo, and online marketing site, which features a job board.

To begin with, Spencer needed some basic information up and running so that anyone searching for his new business could connect via google.

I remember talking to Spencer, and we had a mutual fondness for the American television series - Suits. Whilst watching an episode, something caught my eye:

It then took me a while to find that font. But I managed to settle on a logo and a colour scheme.

Spencer signed this off, so I set to work on the design for the website.

I decided to build a custom job board because even if you deliver a customer a WordPress site with all its bells and whistles - clients don't want to use it. It's also an expensive platform to install and maintain. It gets hacked. I'm not too fond of WordPress.

The solution was a Mongo/Node/Express stack, and I built Spencer and his new staff a way of logging in, managing jobs and editing individual roles.

This solution was more straightforward for me to build and educate the staff on its use. Go and check it out https://www.spencerscott.london
